The Friends of White Plains Public Schools provides grants for academic and cultural enrichment programs not covered by the District's budge for students in White Plains Public Schools. Join us to honor two dedicated and effective public servants who have been active advocates and supporters of the White Plains Public Schools for decades.

Honorable Ben Boykin -- For more than three decades, Ben has been a dedicated advocate for our city, our county and our public schools, serving on the White Plains Board of Education, the White Plains Common Council and the Westchester County Board of Legislators.

Mayor Tom Roach -- During Tom’s 15 years as mayor he led White Plains through significant growth while protecting our neighborhoods, improving our environment, revitalizing downtown, and expanding affordable housing opportunities. He now serves as Westchester County Clerk.
