Complete the Grant Application Form available on the website, supplying additional information if necessary? Please note that all grants must be signed by the grant applicant and his/her supervisor -- usually the principal of a school or a subject area coordinator.
The full board of the Friends meets to review and discuss each grant application. The grant is reviewed against the criteria stated in the application -- primarily on its likelihood of enriching the curriculum for a significant number of students.
The Friends meets monthly and at each meeting reviews grants received since the last meeting. We would suggest submitting grants at least two months, or more, before the proposed program or activity takes place.
Once approved, the applicant is notified by email and a check for the amount of the grant is sent to the District, with express instructions that it be applied to the program, project or activity in the grant.
